Smart home technology can make lighting, security, climate controls, and other household systems easier to manage. Next Level Pros provides the electrical installation and integration work needed to support a variety of connected home technologies.
A Woman-Owned Company Raising the Standard
Electrical problems are not the type of home project to handle with a quick online tutorial. Faulty wiring, overloaded circuits, damaged electrical panels, and outdated systems can create serious safety concerns and should be evaluated by a licensed electrician.
Next Level Pros is a woman-owned, family-operated electrical company serving Lakewood and the surrounding Denver Metro Area since 2004. Our licensed Master and Journeyman electricians provide residential and commercial electrical services ranging from repairs and installations to panel upgrades, knob and tube replacement, generator services, EV charger installation, lighting, and smart home technology.
We combine technical expertise with careful workmanship and a customer-focused service experience. From a single electrical repair to a larger home modernization project, we can evaluate your system, explain your options, and complete the necessary work according to applicable electrical codes.
Next Level Pros provides a broad range of electrical services for homes and businesses throughout Lakewood. Our services include:
Our electricians can help with both individual electrical problems and larger projects that require multiple electrical upgrades.
Electrical issues can appear in many different ways. Flickering lights, outlets that stop working, frequently tripping breakers, unusual sounds, and intermittent power can all indicate an underlying electrical problem.
Our electricians begin with a thorough evaluation rather than simply replacing the first component that appears to be causing trouble. We identify the source of the problem, explain what we find, and recommend the appropriate repair.
Electrical repair services can address:
If you notice burning odors, visible charring, buzzing or crackling sounds, or a panel that feels unusually warm, contact a licensed electrician promptly rather than continuing to use the affected equipment.
Your electrical panel distributes electricity throughout your property, making its condition an important part of your home’s overall electrical safety. An aging, damaged, or overloaded panel can create problems that become more noticeable as your electrical demands increase.
Next Level Pros provides electrical panel troubleshooting, breaker replacement, panel repair, and electrical panel upgrades in Lakewood.
Common warning signs include:
A tripping breaker does not necessarily mean the breaker itself has failed. It may be responding correctly to an overloaded circuit or another electrical fault.
Our electricians test the system to determine whether you need a circuit repair, breaker replacement, panel repair, or a larger electrical upgrade.
Modern homes place significantly more demand on electrical systems than many older homes were designed to handle. Adding air conditioning, EV charging, kitchen appliances, hot tubs, finished living space, or other high-demand equipment can increase the need for electrical capacity.
If your existing panel cannot safely support your current or planned electrical loads, we can evaluate the system and discuss your options. Depending on the property, that may involve replacing the panel, increasing service capacity, adding circuits, or making other electrical improvements.
Many older Lakewood homes may still contain active knob and tube wiring. This wiring method was common in homes built from the late 19th century through the first half of the 20th century and was designed for electrical demands that were far lower than those found in modern homes.
Knob and tube systems generally do not include a grounding conductor and may have insulation that has deteriorated over decades. Homes with active knob and tube wiring may also face complications during remodeling, insulation projects, inspections, or insurance reviews.
Next Level Pros provides professional knob and tube replacement for Lakewood homeowners.
Active knob and tube wiring can be difficult to identify because much of the system may be hidden behind walls, ceilings, attics, or other finished areas. It is often discovered during a home inspection, renovation, insulation project, or electrical evaluation.
You may need an electrical assessment if:
Knob and tube replacement is more involved than replacing an individual wire or outlet. We begin with an on-site assessment to determine where active wiring remains and what the replacement project will require.
Our electricians then develop a plan for installing modern wiring throughout the affected areas. Depending on the home’s construction, new wiring may be routed through attics, basements, crawlspaces, or other accessible areas to reduce unnecessary disruption.
Permitting and inspections are coordinated as required, and we keep you informed throughout the project. If the existing electrical panel also needs to be upgraded to support modern grounded circuits, that can be incorporated into the project scope.
Power outages can affect heating, cooling, refrigeration, security systems, communications, and other essential equipment. A properly installed standby generator provides a backup power option when utility electricity is unavailable.
Next Level Pros provides generator installation and related electrical services for Lakewood homes and businesses.
Our generator services include:
We begin by discussing which equipment you want to keep running during an outage. Our electricians then evaluate your existing electrical system and help determine an appropriate generator and connection strategy.
A standby generator needs to be integrated properly with the property’s electrical system. An automatic transfer switch coordinates the transition between utility power and generator power while helping prevent dangerous backfeeding.
Depending on your property, generator installation may also involve panel work, dedicated circuits, wiring, and other electrical modifications.
We test the completed system and review its operation with you so you understand what to expect when utility power is interrupted.
Generators can develop electrical problems even when they have not been used recently. Failure to start, fault codes, repeated shutdowns, unusual operation, or problems transferring power can all indicate that the system needs attention.
Our electricians can inspect the generator’s electrical connections, transfer equipment, controls, and related wiring to help identify the source of the problem.
If your generator is not operating as expected, having it evaluated before the next outage can help ensure your backup system is ready when you need it.
Smart home technology can make lighting, security, climate controls, and other household systems easier to manage. Next Level Pros provides the electrical installation and integration work needed to support a variety of connected home technologies.
Our smart home electrical services include:
We evaluate your existing electrical infrastructure before recommending an installation. This helps ensure new technology is compatible with your home’s wiring and electrical capacity.
Smart electrical panels provide homeowners with additional visibility into electrical consumption and, depending on the system, tools for monitoring and managing electrical loads.
A smart panel may be worth considering when you are modernizing an older electrical system, adding significant electrical equipment, or looking for more information about how your home uses electricity.
Our electricians can evaluate your existing panel and discuss whether smart panel technology is appropriate for your home.
Smart lighting gives you greater flexibility over how different areas of your home are illuminated. Depending on the system, you can create schedules, adjust lighting through connected controls, and create different settings for everyday activities.
Smart lighting can be designed around:
We can help determine the appropriate equipment and electrical installation approach for your Lakewood home.
Lighting can change the functionality and appearance of a home while providing the illumination needed for everyday activities. Next Level Pros provides indoor and outdoor lighting installation for new construction, remodeling projects, replacements, and home improvements.
Our electricians can assist with the electrical side of lighting projects from installation through testing. We can also incorporate smart controls when you want more flexibility over schedules, scenes, or connected lighting.
New construction and major remodeling projects require careful electrical planning. Next Level Pros can install electrical systems for new homes and newly remodeled spaces, including wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and compatible smart home technology.
We consider the property’s current and anticipated electrical requirements when planning the installation. This helps ensure the electrical system is equipped for the appliances, technology, and equipment the space will need.
Our electricians also coordinate applicable permitting and inspections and complete installations according to current electrical requirements.
Kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home remodeling projects often require substantial electrical changes. New appliances, lighting, outlets, HVAC equipment, and finished living areas can all increase the electrical demands of a property.
Next Level Pros can evaluate your existing system before remodeling begins and identify electrical work that should be included in the project.
Remodeling electrical services may include:
Planning electrical work alongside the renovation can help reduce the need for disruptive changes after the project is complete.
Home EV charging is a convenient option for electric vehicle owners, but the charger must be properly connected to the home’s electrical system. Level 2 chargers generally require a dedicated 240-volt circuit, and some properties may need additional electrical capacity.
Next Level Pros can evaluate your electrical panel, determine the appropriate circuit requirements, install the charger, and complete the necessary wiring and testing.
If your existing panel does not have sufficient capacity, we can discuss an electrical panel upgrade as part of the EV charger project.
Power surges can occur during lightning events, utility disturbances, and certain electrical events within a property. Sensitive electronics, appliances, and other connected equipment may be affected by excessive voltage.
Next Level Pros installs whole-home surge protection to provide an additional layer of protection for your electrical system and connected equipment.
A whole-home surge protection system may help reduce the impact of certain electrical surges and potentially reduce the risk of damage to sensitive electronics and appliances.
